Three Memorable Desserts in Colorado

24K Magic Matcha Soft Serve

KRAV Cafe, Denver

This Japanese-inspired dessert cafe recently opened in LoHi, offering modern takes on your favorite treats.

The specialize in traditional matcha drinks like their fruity refreshers and cocktails, but the soft serve should be the first thing you order. The 24K Magic comes with delicious matcha soft serve ice cream, chewy boba, a macaron and real gold flakes - it’s as delicious as it is beautiful.

The Bonsai Tiramisu

Ukiyo Omakase, Denver

Hidden in an alley in LoDo, this omakase-style restaurant brings a speakeasy vibe with only 12 intimate seats and an 18-course service. Each course is inspired by Chef Phaseuth ‘Paul’ Sananikone’s Laos roots, international travels, and elevated flavors.

The tasting ends with a stunning Matcha Tiramisu, crafted by Sous Chef Chris Hansen. With a creamy base, chocolate pretzel trunk, and cotton candy cloud, this dessert resembles a stunning bonsai tree. And if you finish your sugar floss topping, the chefs will delicately place another ‘fluff’ in front of you.

Three Chocolate Cookie Skillet

Remedy Bar, Vail

When Chef De Cuisine Pankaj Bisht relocated to the Four Seasons in Vail from the Dubai location, he brought a very special dish with him. Step into the Remedy Bar for this irresistible dessert.

You’ll be dreaming about this warm cookie featuring three types of chocolate, and baked in a cast iron skillet. To make it even better, it’s topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfection.
